Snow leopard, charcoal & chalk on blue paper. This was a drawing done for my art class in school.
The size is 18x24". I spent about two weeks on this piece.

I'm interested in knowing how you achieved drawing the fur so effectively. My wife wants me to draw her a picture of a white tiger but I'm not quite sure how to go about it. Don't do hair and fur to much. Probably should.

Well I first put down a smooth blended layer of white chalk, and was able to get the shading by smudging some black charcoal in. once the base was all smoothed down, then I took a white charcoal pencil and started drawing the fur in. It's all a process of layering, even with graphite. :)
